From previous threads, this could be one of the bigger rides we’ve been on for a while. This is supposed to be a stock friendly park, so those of you that have near stock rigs can still watch the big boys play on the harder stuff. This could be a great park if you have not been, but looking to go wheeling.
I will update this post as things change (cause I know they will).
Changed the dates. After looking at the webpage, they are open Fri-Sunday.

When: November 26th 2011 – Roll out at 2pm
DRIVER MEETING AT 1:30PM
Where: 519 North Summit Street Crescent City, FL 32112-2133
Equipment: TOW HOOKS (front & rear), 4 wheel drive, street legal and $10 cash (per vehicle)
Yes we are starting a lot earlier than in years past, trust me when I say we will still get plenty of use from our lights. If I see the number of participants to be high, we may have to move the time up even more. We will leave the meet spot no later than 2pm. Be ready to roll. We have to meet a certain schedule in order for this to work this year. The money is mandatory but is not going to the club or it’s participants. This run is stock friendly. There are spots where 4 wheel drive will be needed.
We are meeting at the Subway/gas station around about 12:30-1:00pm The Subway/gas station is located at the intersection of county road 308 (Vernon ave.) and state road 17 (N. Summit St.)in Cresent City. This will be your only chance to fuel up and the last place to get something to eat before we begin our trek. We will be 15 minutes away from hitting dirt and soon after the point of no return. The end of our trek will not be anywhere close to where we go in. So if your towing, your going to be in for a very long night.
This run is about being with friends and family. It is not about testing the limits of our machines (although poo happens). It will be very important that we stick together and look out for one another. Some of the trails we will be taking are roads that people live on. We will be passing peoples houses and we need to respect that. There will be a few spots here and there that we can make some noise, but be aware of your surroundings and respectful of those who live there.
You must respond to Gator in the forums if you intend to be there.
Wide Open 12-10-11at Choccolocco Mountain ORV
We will run 2 courses. One Saturday morning and one that afternoon.
No pre-registration, but if you are planning to run this please let me know so I can prepare. PM me if you like.
The courses will have an “Open Window” of time that you can show up to run. Once the window of course 1 closes, no more entries will be accepted. There is no limit to entries.
Each course will have a Time Limit.
The Saturday morning course will be either Hells Revenge or WFO, and the Afternoon course will be all of Boatramp.
Cost is $20 to run, this is in addition to the park admission and will be taken up at the 1st course on Saturday. There will be a payout, obviously the amount depends on how many run this.
All vehicles must be caged, have 4 or 5 point harness, fire extinguisher and a quality padded helmet.
We will provide winch points.
Scoring is time or distance.
I will post the limits and more details on the courses as things get closer.
